Seedy Saturday Carmarthen is an opportunity for local gardeners and growers to get together to swap their saved seeds and knowledge before the growing season gets underway. The idea is simple, whether it’s vegetable, herb or flower, just bring some of your own seeds from your garden or allotment and take home something different.
Don’t worry if you do not have any seeds to swap, come along and enjoy Carmarthen’s yearly Green Fayre instead. Entry is free (donations welcome) and Caffi Iechyd Da will be serving hot and cold food and drink from the kitchen.
Tools for Self Reliance Cymru will be selling their range of quality reconditioned garden, green woodworking, smallholding and vintage tools.
Other stalls will be selling and promoting locally made ethical, organic, recycled and Fairtrade products as well as providing information on sustainability and green issues.
Seedy Saturday Carmarthen is Carmarthenshire’s longest running non-profit community seed swap and green fayre and a great day for all the family, young and old.
It will be held in St. Peter’s Civic Hall in Nott Square, Carmarthen on 2nd March 2019 between 10am and 3pm.
