The Warren was packed this evening for Carmarthen Chamber of Commerce relaunch, with warm, generous and delicious hospitality from host Deri.
Christine Davies-Lamble, Chair, gave an excellent and inspiring presentation on the theme of pulling together; John Nash of Carmarthen BID, Business Improvement District, explained how the scheme works; and George Reid of Carmarthen Tourism Association enlightened us on how tourism benefits the whole community.
Christine described the Chamber's exciting plans: more events, free 1-2-1 web advice from a top expert, more collaboration and innovation based on members ideas and suggestions. Membership is just £35 a year.
As well as so many business owners in attendance, it was great to see Wendy Walters, chief exec of Carms County Council and Cllr Hughes responsible for tourism, both at the event.
A most convivial and uplifting relaunch at the Warren, just declared Best Local Restaurant in Wales by the Good Food Guide. and thanks to everyone involved.
