On July 5th 2018, the National Health Service will be 70 years old.
The brainchild of Aneurin Bevan, MP for Ebbw Vale, this iconic institution is one of the most influential ideas ever to come out of Wales, and has touched all of our lives in countless ways.
With the people of Wales, National Theatre Wales will tell the stories of these 70 years. Working with communities and artists from cities, towns and villages across the whole country, we will unlock and share hidden stories from the seven decades. We’ll discover people’s connections to the Health Service, families and links across the world, as we travel the length and breadth of the country, listening and recording.
We’re looking for people and places who can help us mark and celebrate this remarkable moment in our shared history. We’re looking for you. You might be a patient, a practitioner, a researcher, a relative or all of the above.
